INNER CITY TRAILS
The Inner City Trails project is an exciting initiative being facilitated by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder to develop walking trails in the central areas of both Kalgoorlie and Boulder . Work on the trails commenced in late 2004 with the City’s
Local History and Archive staff developing routes for the Trails and gaining the required historical information and photographs to be used for the project.
This trail allows you to follow the architecture of a mining town, taking in the best and getting plenty of photo opportunities. Most buildings you will see as you follow this trail around central Kalgoorlie-Boulder were built in the 1800s, with the exception of a few. This largely means that you will be walking through a townsite that looks much like it did more than a hundred years ago.
Take a step back in time and do the inner city trail in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. If you want to have a better look, download the Kalgoorlie Inner City Trail Brochure below.
